I would like to get Stroller #2 if available. We will be staying at POP July3-10, 2009.

Welcome! Get your post count up to 10 (feel free to post random smilies here!) and then PM Parkers*Momma with your information. The first page of this thread lists the info she needs and a lot of other great info!

Have fun planning your trip!

Did I mention how happy I was that I did the RC stroller swap?!!! As I walked through the parks with my DD2 and DD4 riding comfortably in the RC, I couldn't help but notice all those poor (literally!) people pushing those really expensive, small and uncomfortable looking Disney double rental strollers! At $27-$31 a day - yikes!!!

Later in the trip I began to notice that a lot of people had the same red and black umbrella stroller. Coincidence? No! Those were the folks that decided to BUY a stroller from the Disney gift shop. Those cheap little Disney umbrella strollers are $50 !!!! :lmao:

So, did I mention how happy  I was that I did the RC stroller swap?

Flowers for you Parkers*Momma :flower3:

I thought this was worth reposting! Seriously... you should get in on this swap!

(Thought this was worth a repost too! Plus we were on page 2 :scared1:)

No car? No problem!!!!
1. The stroller is big, but not too heavy. It folds up (latch on the side). But carrying a folded stroller is definitely a job for DH!

2. BUSES: We took the stroller on the bus every day, several times! Fold it up and carry it on. Most bus drivers will open the back door for DH to get on with the stroller. Then stand by the back door for easy off.

3. MONORAIL: Wheel that baby on! No need to fold it.

4. BOAT: Here’s the scoop – on the small boats you need to fold the stroller. But the BIG boats, you just roll it on. YIPPEE! :boat:

We got around! And took the RC with us everywhere. With a DD6 DD4 and DD2, it was a life saver!

I have a laminator at home that I can do for RC1 if it needs to be done!!

Did I mention yet that I only have 9 days:thumbsup2
(People at work are getting sick of me talking Disney):scared1:

People have been cringing at work for me since September when I booked!!! Trust me, I know the feeling being on the receiving end of those looks...you know the ones, "Oh, God, here she goes again with the Disney stuff...doesn't she have anything better to talk about?" looks. Fortunately for me, my fellow 1st grade teacher is as big a Disney fan (and a Diser too) so we talk away and the rest just have to listen...hehehe.

Sorry for being off the boards all weekend...I'm finding time on random computers when I get a chance. Not having my laptop with wireless internet is like not having any fingers...Ugh!

Is it my computer or are some of the countdown tickers not showing? I cant see Michaelsmom all I see is an X. Mine is showing up that way too?

/
I can't see mine either! I should be in the teens now...I want to see that countdown...WAAAHHH, WAAAHH! It better be fixed before I get to the singles...

Phewwww everything updated and changed around.

just waiting on a few replies and everything is finished for the night.

Ohh ad BTW...when it is snowing and blowing--never stand out in the cold at an auction to buy chickens. I am sicker than a dog from it. I must really love my Diva and her chicken fetish hahahaha

MY "adopted" son (not officially but he is my son none the less) just called me from........drum roll..................................MISSISSIPPI! He is in tech school for the next 7 weeks. Then he will be deployed....not sure where but hopefully state side. If not then it is sounding like Germany or Italy.

But the best news.....he is going to save up his leave time so if he is State side in September...he might join us for a day or two.:yay::yay:

Our Vacation was originally call "Mommie and Me Making Memories vacation" was changed to "Mommie and Me plus Daddy makes Three creating Memories Vacation" Now that my lil soldier son maybe coming...what shall we call it?

Trust me, if he does join us...POP Century will definitely know there is a Soldier in our room! RED, WHITE, and BLUE Mickey heads all over the place!

I couldn't be any prouder of him if I had given birth to him! I started crying when I heard his voice and cried when he had to say goodbye! There is nothing sweeter than hearing a child that isn't your biological son say "MOM, Thanks for everything....I Love you."

OK...I'M ONE PROUD MOMMA RIGHT NOW!

That is such wonderful news. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like the title of Mom does fit you.

:rotfl2: I hope you feel better.

Yeah I can see my countdown again:woohoo: 7 days left:cheer2:

Here's a previous post with info on how much the storage basket holds. It's big and deep. I'll look for a manufacturer pic of the stroller folded.

There is a large storage area under the stroller. It is the width of the stroller and about 8 inches deep (guessing). We put a small insulated cooler bag filled with water bottles, juice bags and snacks, three kids fleece jackets one adult jacket, the rain cover and the shade. Without the jackets, we fit the cooler bag and a large backpack. It holds a lot. It is VERY easy to access from the back and from the sides.

We hung the backpack on the handle when the bottom part was full. We are a family of 5 with a DD2, DD4 and DD6. We had a lot of stuff!

Holy cow....and I thought that my trip had gotten out of hand!!!!

It is now a Mommie, Daddy and Me makes three plus a Salute to an American Soldier making memories vacation.;)

I hope that he gets to stay state side but from personnel experience Germany is a beautiul place.(Many months there as a brat!!)

Parkers*Momma that's great news! Hugs to your soldier son from the RC swappers! Hope his leave works out for Disney. More importantly, I hope he stays safe. Glad he's stateside for a while.
