Hi all! We're just back from 10 days at WDW. I know we're always looking for Royal Carriage info. We had the #2. I had lovely & easy person to person transfers, which were great & one thing I love about doing swaps. Meeting fellow Diser's! I had found one of these strollers, almost exact, at a local thrift store & my sister (who travelled with us) bought it so she & I could each have one of these great strollers. Here are some photos of #2 & hers.
Here are a few of our kids (she has 4 & I have 3.) The girl in pigtails is 8 & fit just fine, as you can see. She was tall enough to ride Rock-N-Roller Coaster (and brave enough!) yet fit in this stroller. I call that a success!
Here is the $1 shower curtain I bought with 5 clips I also got at the Dollar store. It worked perfectly as a rain cover.
And here we are all parked. My sister & I each bought cupholders for these strollers. We bought different ones & both worked perfectly. I greatly recommend this. You can kind of see them here. I also used the back pocket on the actual stroller to keep our pressed penny book.
And here are the babies who truly benefitted from these strollers, though not generally were they in the same one as they can't stop fighting with each other.
I also had brought a small bicycle pump ($9.00 at Wal-Mart) in case the heavy load we were carrying (bags & babies & the occasional 8 or 6 year old!) made the tires tired. However, I found that I never needed to pump them. I was glad for the security of having the pump though, it would have been a bummer to get a flat.
I guess that's it. This was a great swap for me & a great stroller. And best of all I saved what, $150.00 from not renting a Disney stroller?
