The new stroller was delivered to my house last night. Admittedly, its still in the box waiting for DH to return from Indianapolis tonight and put it together. Just thought I would let everyone know that I have it! WWWOOOO HOOOO I'm leaving in EXACTLY 48 hours!!!

We are driving from Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are leaving at like 3:15 when the kids get out of school! We're stopping in Gas City, Indiana to eat this little hole in the wall pizza join in my hubby's home town. AFter that we will drive straight through to Kissimme!! Wooo hooo. Hubby works 3rd, so he will drive until the sun comes up and then its my turn to take over. Suits me just fine.

I will defintely take pics of the stroller tonight when hubby gets it put together. I'll probably post quite a few pics! I'm a proud parent LOL

Hi there,

I'll be getting RC#1 in a week and a half. The person before me is leaving it in luggage services at AKL, and I'll be leaving it at luggage services at Pop for the next swapper (hey there, Zarvgirl! ). So, where exactly *is* luggage services? We'll have a car, so it'll be an easy transfer; will I have any problems getting past security at the gate?

Sorry if this has be asked/answered before, but I couldn't read through 113 pages! How easy is the double stroller to get on and off the buses, monorail, etc? How easily does it fold and how bulky is it too move around when its folded up?

Also, do the strollers stay pretty clean from swapper to swapper? It seems like it would be common courtesy to pass it on in good, clean condition, but we all know how THAT goes!

Here's a few of the prior posts that I think will answer your questions.

No car? No problem!!!!

1. The stroller is big, but not too heavy. It folds up (latch on the side). But carrying a folded stroller is definitely a job for DH!

2. BUSES: We took the stroller on the bus every day, several times! Fold it up and carry it on. Most bus drivers will open the back door for DH to get on with the stroller. Then stand by the back door for easy off.

3. MONORAIL: Wheel that baby on! No need to fold it.

4. BOAT: Here’s the scoop – on the small boats you need to fold the stroller. But the BIG boats, you just roll it on. YIPPEE!

We got around! And took the RC with us everywhere. With a DD6 DD4 and DD2, it was a life saver!

There is a large storage area under the stroller. It is the width of the stroller and about 8 inches deep (guessing). We put a small insulated cooler bag filled with water bottles, juice bags and snacks, three kids fleece jackets one adult jacket, the rain cover and the shade. Without the jackets, we fit the cooler bag and a large backpack. It holds a lot. It is VERY easy to access from the back and from the sides.

We hung the backpack on the handle when the bottom part was full. We are a family of 5 with a DD2, DD4 and DD6. We had a lot of stuff!

Each swapper is supposed to wipe down the stroller before leaving it for the next swapper. The stroller we used was very clean. I hope that most swappers have had the same experience.
