Royal Carriage Stroller Swap Part 2--closed

Hi All,
Back a while but got the Flu and a new computer. We r both up an running.

Maddi - Thank u for running this swap. We would never have made it with out the stroller. We had an issue with Pop LS. The Guy went in for it but never came out. A Gal went in an found it right away.

Laurie - I am glad u had no problems with the stroller.

This was our 1st visit to Disney and it will not be our last. We had the best time. We could not believe how helpful everyone is.

Just a thought -- if you attach a balloon to the stroller, do you think LS would let it stay on? It would last about a week or so and I'm sure the kids would enjoy it. Also, it should make it very easy to spot the stroller in LS...and will be more memorable to them.

(I'm not sure how much balloons cost at Disney...)

Thought of that but it isn't so much that it is hard to find, it's more that POP LS isn't even looking.

I did think of attaching a bunch of streamers to the stroller in LIME green but again, they have to look for it.

Maybe we should attach a car alarm on it and pass the buttons off to each other. Then all we would have to do is hit the Panic button. I bet they would find the strollers right away!!!!

Great idea! I'm not sure that a balloon would make it without getting popped, but how about a few colorful bandanas - knot (and I mean double knot so it does not come untied) one (or two) to the handle and maybe another to a side bar?

Hey that might work...mardi gras the thing up with bandanas and beads. It might make them take notice to it. Are you interested in trying some on #5?

BTW...where are you picking the stroller up at. While I was gone the swapper before you sent a PM about leaving it at POP.......Please tell me it isn't so...that she is bringing it to your resort.

OT -- Disney Carpet/Rugs

Anyone see the new Disney Carpets and Area Rugs? I just went to check them out today. We are looking at getting the Pixie Purple in Tink's Flight. It actually has a HT - Hidden Tinkerbell on it. It's done so well that if we didn't tell anyone, they probably wouldn't ever see it.

Also, if you stop by your carpet store that sells the Disney carpet, they are giving away a free Disney item to all the kids. My DD4 got an adorable Tinkerbell baseball cap and my DD 6mo got a small Tigger stuffed animal just for looking at the carpet.

No but now I am going to have to go check them out. I so want a disney room. Whenever I bring it up I get the "look" from DH. hahaha

I'm not really the lay-on-the-ground-kicking-and-screaming type of fit thrower, I'm more of the scream-in-your-face-while-crying fit thrower.

Okay, seriously, I got a free hour long tour of the Polynesian Luggage Services Storage Areas last year & I think you had left it for me then! I would love to tour POP's & will gladly ask. The stroller should only be there for 3 hours at the most, but it looks like POP's already proven that a few hours is all it takes.

I won't have internet access, but if I can't find it, I have several DISsers phone # & I'm sure one of them will gladly let you know! So if you don't hear anything, that means I got it!

It's amazing...Pop has been our only issue. Heck WL went above and beyond when we had issues earlier this year.

Hopefully we can get through the rest of the year without anymore issues.

HAHAHA...that is who it was. OMG Ijust figured out the problem we have been having.

How many DHs are standing with the fridge door hanging open and yell...honey I can't find the mustard. You are in the front room helping the kids with homework, DISing, and watching TV and yell back "Darling, it is on the second shelf, on the left hand side behind the gallon of milk."

Yep...if it isn't in plan view, have a bikini on, or screaming touchdown...a man can't find it! OK be sure that if the stroller do have to be left at POP you ask a woman CM to get it for you!

I will take some sort of colorful decorations. Maybe it will help. Also, I did exchange messages with the swapper before me. Prior to your trip she was wondering about leaving it at POP since there is a break in the schedule, but I asked her to leave at BCV so we don't need to track it down (hopefully) when we arrive. After all of the recent mix-ups at POP, she will definitely be leaving it at BCV. Also, the swapper after me said she is staying at Pop Movies. I sent her another PM, but wondering...is this Pop Century or All Star Movies? If POP are we going to try to leave it there again ?

My other thought was to leave at BCV. I know this would be a pain to pick up, but maybe not as big of a pain as POP has been. If they have a car, it might work better this way. I sent her a PM. We will work out the details and keep our fingers crossed if it has to stay at POP overnight
