everyone needs a Mickey Medal

I think every race I run should have a Mickey on the medal...even the local ones where it'd make no sense!

I am in awe of those who manage Dopey along with family responsibilities in the parks.

Especially with smaller kids who don't know how to sleep in. Although to be fair if I was a non-runner I'd be up super early with Dis-excitement begging to go attack the parks too.

This midwest weather is drunk... it can go home now!
It was 50 on Wednesday and yesterday is was 4F (right now it's -5F). This weird cold front is clearly moving east toward you!

SO MUCH DRUNK! It was lightly snowing this morning and chillllly. Last night I didn't wear a coat to the gym and my toes were sweating (tmi?)
I have a 0% looking forward to tomorrow morning's weather right now. I guess I'll just keep telling myself...run faster...it's over faster.

Oh I know, Milwaukee isn't much different in July. I never need an excuse to go shoe shopping but running might help justify it

Here too. My run at lunch started in temps just above freezing, then a third of the way in the path turned into an ice rink, then on the last third I was pelted by ice pellets that felt like knives stabbing my face and now it's a blizzard. Boy don't we love those Great Lakes!
