I saw that but was left wondering- how does it work? Is it anyone who walks in? Do you need reservations? Is it just for those who are there on their birthday? Does it cost any extra fee? Do you rent it for just your own party? :confused3

I have attended a private event in this area before and the food was really good. Probably the best I had in the park (if you like BBQ).

It looks like you can go there for anything, it is part of all the "celebrations" tabs on that page. So I'm assuming you just make a PS reservation and you're good to go. It has to cost though...

Nice to know it is open again, it is a awesome restaurant!!!

I wonder if they will have vegetarian options...?

im glad.. we passed by this area in sept and i said to myself... why don't they just make this area into Pixie hollow. so glad to see they will use the space for something...Although i would love having pixie hollow there much better...

I had read about this BBQ as well as other dining options on the DL. website several days ago, and it sounds so delicious as well as fun, it does sound like one has to pay for it though, for as nice as it would be to have it offered for people that are celebrating their birthdays there (at DL.) I just cannot imagine it being served on a complimentary basis for such.

Ah, you haven't seen the area at Halloween or Yuletime, have you? Very lovely and wonderful in there at those times. Best to not have pixie hollow in such a lovely spot at those times, and I hope this BBQ (ew, especially having it so close to animals!) isn't there ALL the time, but rather that they allow for the Round-Up stuff to happen as well (without the smell of bbq unless it's all just grilled veggies and tofu!).

I called Disney Dining at @ noon today, asking about this event and if the price list is available yet, it is not, however in a couple of weeks or so it may be, and it sounds like it will be based on a per person basis, like it had been in the past, and that one can make a p.s. for such, otherwise I figure it would all depend upon availability that day, for walk up reservations.

actually--I'm thinking this won't be where they do the Woody's Round-Up stuff but in the area to the left of that that has been closed off for some time. A couple of weeks ago when we took the train in the evening we could see the area all set with tables, chairs and lights.

Molly--I also hope they don't mess with the Woody's Round-Up stuff!

Great thanks!!! :thumbsup2 I am really anxious now to hear about all the details on cost and events. That would be great if there was entertainment to go along with it.
