Round 1, Match 11: Mulan vs Pocahontas

This week, two classic films from Disney's Renaissance Era go head to head as Mulan takes on Pocahontas.

I went with Pocahontas.

I haven't seen Pocahontas in a LONG LONG LONG time, so I barely remember it. But as a kid, my memories are of me not liking it. Sorta the same with Mulan. It just never had that flair that the other Disney classic had. But if I had to go with one, it would probably be Mulan.

Totally forgot to vote for the last one!

But anyways... I think they are both good films, not great, but good. I think that my vote goes to Pocahontas because it has a stronger soundtrack.

Just a heads up, Round 1 doesn't have too much longer to go. After this, there are only a few more matches left (trying to get in as many classic films as possible) and then we'll be on to Round 2.


So I guess that means Pocahontas wins this 9 to 6.
