We have been trying to keep up with this thread and appreciate all of the info and experiences. Now that Disney changed the opening to 7am to all, what is your suggestion to me to having a really good chance of getting on this ride? We are staying on property but will have a car. I read now that they wont open up parking lots until an hour before (6am). What time would you head out and how would you get there (bus or drive?). We are not staying at BW or BC. We really...really...really want to ride and will try whatever we need to do to have the best change of getting on this weekend. Thanks everyone in advance!

So, who will be there tomorrow (Thursday) morning for the first day of 7am open?

I’ll be there Friday morning, so I’m hoping people will post stats from tomorrow so I can judge how stupid-early I need to drag myself over to DHS from YC.

I’m hoping that the speculation is correct that the new 7am open is just a technicality to better reflect the 6:30 open that’s been happening all week, and that a 6am arrival will still be okay. (Because 5am is really gonna hurt, but I’ll do it if I absolutely have to.)

Yep, this ^^^

I have the Christmas party Friday night so I do not want to be getting up at 5am to get to the parks before 6a and then be at MK until midnight. That would wreck my Saturday. But what are you to do? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You either get there bang on 6 when the parking lots open or Uber/Lyft/other taxi over to the HS entrance a little earlier. When do you go? I would be tempted by a Uber if it is over the busy Christmas period and getting there for 4/5 if it is a must must do for you. I would hate to only blame myself if I missed out just because I didn’t get there quick enough.

We are there this weekend! We are planning to go on Saturday morning. Do you think Disney will stay true to not opening parking lots until 6am? We would be there at 5 if we could but arent sure what to do. Can Uber/Lyft get into the park before cars and busses? By the way thank you for helping!!

The parking lot has been opening by 5:00a.

I noticed a few pages back people asking about skyliner opening. Was walking my son this morning and they started running at 6:30am but not actually open, gates at international gateway were closed

I’m leaving BC tomorrow morning when my son wakes up to get in line (walking over), he’s usually up around 5:15-6am (1 year old). Got his breakfast packed and stuff to keep him busy in line. Will report back in the AM

Does anyone know if Woody's Lunchbox is open in Toy Story Land in the 6 and 7 AM hours when the park is opening early? (Hoping to get breakfast while waiting for our boarding group to be called!)

The parking lots have been opening by 5. Just drive over at like 5:30 and you should be fine

Hours on the site still say 8am, so not sure. I saw a Tweet (wish I could remember where) from the last few days about how it was open early those first few days but then more recently hasn't been right at opening. I'm not sure if I'm remembering that correctly, but I think that was the gist of the tweet I saw.

It was not open while we were there at 6:30 AM with a “9 AM” opening... I did see them setting up cups or some sort of coffee station (I think) but no food.
