Anybody who has been there the last few days: what do you suggest as a first ride at rope drop... MFSR, SDD? Where do lines build quicker? What does the line at MFSR look like around 7am?

SDD for sure. A lot of people gravitate to mfsr but after the first 30 min the ride settles to about 30 minutes wait time

It's not running at full capacity
Based on my experience today they’re not even CLOSE to full capacity. There is clearly space in the various rooms for significantly more people than what they are doing right now. A few months from now I bet they have this thing humming along great with a really high throughput.

What was the highest boarding group # distributed today? (not boarded, but assigned)

Thanks! If I have a FP for SDD and “once is enough” would MFSR still not be your first stop to let it settle? Maybe RnR/ToT initially instead?

Touring Plans has estimated wait times for every ride for every future day -- these early hours may tweak things a bit but you can look at each ride individually.

You’re assuming I place any faith whatsoever in Touring Plans 🤣 I’m looking for my feet on the ground recommendation from the lovely @yulilin3

I’d also accept “What is EasyWDW? Alex.” 😂

With boarding groups totaling around 160 the first day and around 80 the past couple days, and reports of the ride not operating "both sides", I wonder if it is running at half capacity right now.

After a long while I have found one (1) bright side to this: I now get to observe three days of precedent before my trip. Will the new rule become a 5:30 opening with BGs gone by 7:30, or will the 6:30 open hold fast? We'll know soon...

I work until 1:30 AM, so I'll have the whole thread to review over breakfast tomorrow.

The first three days were really a 6am opening (the Saturday opening was supposed to be open at 6am prompt, they were all ready for it then some goober scanned in a band before they opened and crashed the system yielding the opening really happening after 6:30am).

So I am thinking that as crowds increase they'll return to a 6am kiosk opening.

It was running at half capacity on opening day.
Opening day reportedly executed 127 boarding groups -- perhaps the difference between that and 81 is adding the fast passes that others have mentioned. In that case, the throughput from day 1 to now potentially hasn't changed much.

We are there this weekend! We are planning to go on Saturday morning. Do you think Disney will stay true to not opening parking lots until 6am? We would be there at 5 if we could but arent sure what to do. Can Uber/Lyft get into the park before cars and busses? By the way thank you for helping!!

Yes I think the parking lot will open earlier. I think Uber can just drop off as there would be no one at the parking booths to check - can anyone verify this please? I am sure people were getting Ubers at 2am to get there on opening day. Thanks!
