So I haven't been to Disney in 10 years and we are planning on going next April at Easter break! Finally! A lot has changed since we visited last.....no more fast passes, new attractions etc. My question isn't specific for these two Star Wars attractions but these are the two I want to do the most. Do you need to purchase the Genie+ passes or the Lightning Lane for these attractions? As I said, it's been so long since Ive been back, its like I'm new to all of this. Can someone guide me and try to help me as to what the best approach is for then major attractions at Disney? My kids are older (in their 20's) and we've done the parks several times so we are really just interested in the newest attractions. Thanks in advance for all your hel!

I don't think you need to but can be helpful unless you are okay with long waits. Though waiting may not be as bad since you have older kids and they can probably handle it fine. If you're early risers staying at a WDW resort and know you'll be lining up an hour before early morning access starts, you should be fine to skip it the Genie+/ILL and still not encounter crazy wait times.

Easter Break.... I'd plan on buying these, as that's likly to be a peak period. Does your break involve the actual Easter weekend?

You didn't say if you were staying on site, Early Entry is a great time to catch these.... and many have sucess specifically right around park closing as well.

Most of the time, Genie+ and LL is not a must, but a connivence thing.... your spending several thousand dollars, why not spend a few hundred more to get the most out of it. But peak times like Christmas and Easter, I'd put them in the must category for anyone that hasn't been in a decade.

yeah we are camping at FW and we've done the parks so many times I think we will chance it and if we have to wait we will. Thanks!

Yeah....I think you'll be fine. I wasn't particularly impressed with ROTR. I do love Smuggler's Run, but it has a single rider line....
We probably will buy ILL for ROTR in the spring, because my husband LOVES Star Wars, but hasn't been to Galaxy's Edge yet (I've been twice at Disneyland). We also have little kids though, so waiting in line isn't a super awesome option. The youngest won't even be tall enough for ROTR, so I may just skip it.
