I know you can request your rotation, but I was curious if there is a "best way to do it". Want to do two Dinners at Palo so want to put those on nights where we won't be missing out on whatever is happening in the main dining room. I know Animators pallete is a favorite but other then that I'm clueless.

I'm on the Disney Fantasy for 7 nights

Folks will likely want to know which ship you are on to help with their recommendations. :cutie:

If you're on the Fantasy, your first night at Animators Palate is actually something for adults to skip, as it just features Crush talking to certain guests. Just don't miss your final night at AP, which is the participatory amination magic show.

So you might want to request a rotation that begins with AP, as to advance schedule dinner at Palo twice, one of those nights will have to be embarkation night.

Thank you. Are their any other cant miss dinners outside of pirate night? Also do you just request what restaurant you start with or all of them?

Well, the can't-miss dinner I recommend most is your final dinner at Animator's Palate, as I mentioned before. Formal night also tends to be a nice experience in the MDRs- you can check Personal Navigator's on DCL Blog to see when formal night tends to take place on your Fantasy itinerary.

You can just request that your dining rotation begin with AP. That request won't be guaranteed, though. Also be aware that you can add Palo onboard instead of advance. There is typically plenty of availability for dinner.

I think a lot of folks feel that pirate night dinner is easily skipped although you don’t want to miss the fireworks.

You can call DCL to find out the possible rotations and then make a request.

The menus on our fantasy 7 night were:
Standard rotational
Standard rotational
Standard rotational
Prince and princess
Captain's gala
Star wars (replacing pirate menu)
Til we meet again

Can I jump on this thread and ask how rotational works for the 4 night, Bahamas, Dream? We have no other dining plans ( palo etc). But wonder if we may prefer skipping one evening simply to chill evening more poolside or eat earlier. Would pirate night be the night to skip dinner?

Scott's blog https://disneycruiselineblog.com/menus/ has menus from the dining rooms. You might take a look at them and decide which is the least appealing to you. You'll dine at each MDR one time with the standard menu. On one night, pirate night, all of the restaurants will serve the same menu, the pirate menu.

On a 3 night dream cruise, if its pirate night, are you only given a pirate menu, or do you have a choice of that restaurants regular menu?

There’s 3 MDRs on the Dream so you’ll be scheduled to eat at one restaurant twice. Whichever one is twice, will be the one you have for Pirates Night. FWIW, I was least impressed with the Pirates night menu than the regular menus, so if you wanted to skip one, that might be the one!
