just wondering if anyone else already had thiers pruned and if anyone else was doing cuttings already
didnt do any cuttings on mine yet for my self, but three other people have stopped to get cuttings from my old style pink that my granny rescued from an old civil war era plantation about 40 years ago, and we have 2 bushes thatwe grew from cuttings off of when we moved here. most of ours are hybrids and dont propogate well, have 2 old fashioned rose bushes that i do cutting every year and then friends seemto claim all the plants
this year a customer gave me about 20 limbs off of an old fashioned rose she has had for years and i ended up with about 30 cuttings in the dirt out of those, couldnt resist after the 70 degree weather earlier in the week, had to get my hands dirty
now to prune out my ferns, ( hoping they havent died over the winter, prune a few more of the roses here, and get cuttings in the ground off my semi climbing pink, most of my jonquills and snow bells will be in bloom by next week, my tulipos are up and looking good, daisys are starting to take off, my mumsare all starting to poke thier heads out and green up..... begining to look like spring
keep wanyting to check my rose of sharon bushes and the plum trees for green,,, but i know its still to early, still havent fixed the drainage problems in the back yard, but the kids are already in line to help spread sand under the deck. was out there yesterday and started laying out where the beds are going to go
