Don, we've booked to stay there at the beginning of November and I can't wait. I love staying at new resorts and this one promises to be outstanding. There are some amazing rates available at the moment and you seem to have found one of the best!

Someone in the Travel Industry (who lives in Orlando) is taking a tour this month, so I will report back in due course. There are some photos on the website. I take it you have seen them? When are you staying there?

MOMTOMOOTOO
You are so right it was a 99 dollar add on i did not see that till after i went back and looked at there site!I was so excited .....Sorry!I plan to go sept 22-24!I also saw somewhere on there press release page you could add universal studio's on that package.I have seen some of the pictures My dd is more intrested in the pool factor and the fact that it is a "fancy smancey place" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I love a great deal :thumbsup2 did you see the prices after the grand opening

You know what. Since I am going in September 18, i have been thiinking what is thier opening is postponed. What will happen? I am getting nervous.

Well, any one else staying here. Or heard anything new about the resort? I know there must be more than 7 people. Who will be vacationing there. :confused3

I hope there is no need to worry! When i called last week they told me everything was on schedule to open!I hope that was not a bunch of PR stuff....But if it goes south there are plenty of options in orlando....
Keep the Faith

DaddyDon,

Thank you for your response. They told me on the phone. They would not charge my card. Until, my arrival. Well, I told them. I wanted to prepay. So, I that is what they did. I hope everything is a go. I really am looking forward to a taste of the lap of luxery!! Plus, my ds12, has never been to such a nice resort. Highest rated hotel he has ever been is the hilton brand. He still talks about it. I cant wait to see his face, when we stay here. This is a surprise 3 day trip for him to universal, before disney.

My dd almost 9 thinks this place is the fanciest place she has ever seen :rotfl: :rotfl: And it is nice from what i have seen! She allway's seems to suprise her daddy with her way of thinking....early in the summer she said she wanted to go to the country and campout, she can be a beautifull young lady and still give any boy her age a run for there money...and by the way we did go up to the mountains and camped for a week......I like to prepay also when possible ...that way you can budget your real spending money better! I hope you and your son have a great time!We visit the orlando area 3-5 times a year,(i live 5 hrs away and i have children and grand children that live in the tampa st pete area)So if you need some advice give me a shout.
Don

DaddyDon,
Your little princess, sounds like a well rounded young lady. You seem like a great dad!! :thumbsup2 I have a family of 5 Me, dh, ds12, ds4,dd2. I have been going down to orlando since the age of 4. In total. I believe this trip will make 18. I absolutely adore Disney, and Universal!! Cannot get enough of it! I decided that I would take my oldest son. For some mommy, and tween bonding time. It should really be a blast!! He knows nothing about the side trip to universal. He is only thinking we will be going to Disney. I am looking so forward to waking him up 3 days earlier, and telling him we have to head out to the airport. He is thinking we leave the 21st of sept. But we are leaving the 18th. :cheer2: He really loves universal, and wants to go, so badly. But, after, I told him, its just not in our budget. He has given up on the thought. He is such a an understanding, gentle, and honorable, young man. Who never complains. I cant wait to see the surprise on his face

Wow to see the look on his face PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!I do a daddy daughter trip once a year also to get that bonding time.I have a total of three daughters 23,19,and almost 9.and 3 grandchildren.Have a great trip to UA/IOA we love that park also!!!!!And yes i also sometimes get my other daughters on my famous daddydaughter trips........Who doesnt like a free ride on dad???????Mom get's to stay home and have her quiet time...she say's i'm nothing more than a big kid...lol okay i work hard and play hard!

DaddyDon,

If i had a time machine i would ship it too you!!!!!!!You two have a Great time in Orlando!!!!!I feal like a kid everytime i go!And too see the parks thru a kids'eyes is PRICELESS!!!!!!!You have a very lucky son!!!!!!A mom who spends quality time in this day and age is allmost unheard of these day's!!!!!I am sure he will allway's remember tis trip and who know's it could make the difference of him making a good decision or a bad one as he meets the teen year's head on!

DaddyDon,
Oh no! :guilty: This does not sound good. I am so sorry you have injured yourself! I am sending :wizard: 3 gallons of pixie dust your way. Wishing you, a the most speedy, and painless recovery!! I am so sure you will be able to go!!No, surgery for you!! I will definately, keep you, in my prayers!!

Thank you very much for your kind, thoughts, and words. It is very much appreciated. I am just a mom. Who loves her children immensley. I have 3 ds12, ds4, dd2. I kind of feel guilty to leave the two youngest at home with my husband. But, we just came back from a family trip in October, from the World. In 2007, we all will be going on a cruise, as a family. Then, another familly trip to the World in 2008!! I will definately make sure. I take each of them on a solo trip to bond with mom!!

Once again, your family is so blessed to have you! There are not many men that love, and treasure thier families!! You are the best!! Keep your head up, think positive, and I am pretty sure with the prayers. I'll send up to heaven. You, and your daughter, will have a great time, in the World!!! :cheer2: :goodvibes
