I would think a 6 year old would be okay sitting in it, not standing but if she's into pretend play and such, she'd have a great time. Plus there are so many accessories available to buy for future gift giving or she could really use any dishes, pretend food, etc.

We got this last year for Christmas for my then almost 3 year old. Both of my girls LOVE it now. They're 16 months and almost 4 yrs old. The younger one has been having fun with it for about 2 months now!

I'm debating this. My 6.5 YO has asked for it for C-mas, but 1 - I think it is too young for her (She asked for a Nintendo DS, and a cupcake baker as well!)

AND she shares a room with 2 siblings, so it will have to live in the living room until the playroom is done. Am I right to pass on this deal? She is the youngest girl and has a 3.5 YO brother.

It is for toddlers and I think that price is awesome.

I commented that my girls would love it, but yes they are way too big to fully play with it.
