So when you make reservations for the Rose & Crown I assume it is for the Dining area? They do not sit you in the pub right? Can you make reservations specific to the pub? What would the wait be around 1pm for the pub part if you just wanted some quick "pub grub"? We will be in Epcot May 2nd and again May 7 or 8th, thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, When you make reservations for the Rose & Crown it is for the dining room not the pub. They do not take reservations for the pub section, it is pretty small. There are only 4 or 6 small tables and the wait for one of those can be quite long.
Good Luck

There are only 4 tables with chairs in the Pub, the other tables are standing tables. These are used primarily for drinking. You can eat if you are lucky enough to grab one of those tables but the pub only offers about 4 items, not the full menu you get in the dining room.

1) Getting a table in the pub is a coin toss.
. . . sometimes people sit for a short while
. . . sometimes they sit for a very long time
2) We have seen different scenarios.
. . . we walked in just as another couple got up, and grabbed the table
. . . we stood and waited more than an hour before we gave up
3) As for your chances.
. . . sometimes people stand at the bar waiting for a table
. . . others meander while waiting for a table
. . . when a table opens, it is like a kids "musical chairs" game
. . . sometimes there are 2-3 people trying to grab the table
. . . there in no such thing as being-in-line for a table
. . . it is first-grabbed-first-served
. . . sometimes rude, but such is life in the bar biz
. . . no hostess or bartender tends to the the table priorities

When you make reservations it will be for the dining room. We always try to get reservation a little before or after the mid-day rush. Also stay away from on the hour or on the half.

Some of the lunch meals are huge.

Thanks for all the responses, this is what I thought. We will keep our ressie for the dining room and maybe get there early to check out the pub.
