Rose & Crown & Illuminations or another Resturant???

we want to book Rose & Crown at a time where we might catch Illuminations... I know there are no guarantees... but since we are booking late for that night we figured we'd give it a shot.. It will be Oct 3 during the wine and food festival so we know it will be crowded, it also could be an Extra Hours night for park guests.. so we know our chances are slim.. but hey.. somebodys gotta get the tables that can view them right
Has anyone sen them from this resturant? any suggestions or comment on how to get one? If you think another dining option is better for viewing suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

First you gave me heart failure when you said it woudl be Sept 3 during the wine and food festival that you wanted to dine at Rose & Crown for Illuminations (I checked the calendar and the food and wine festival is 9-26 through 11-9...thank goodness because we don't want to be there during the fesitval).

Now back to your original question. The only thing I can tell you is that in five tries to get an outside table around 7:30 for Illuminations, we have only been successful once. Truthfully, we have found other spots to sit for the show that we enjoy just as much. But there is no harm in trying.

WOW! so sorry!! our vacation starts in sept and ends in Oct and I forget to change the month in my mind.. It's really Oct 3! I changed it...
