If we have dinner reservations at 7:50 PM, what are our chances of getting a table out on the patio to watch Illuminations?
(This is for a reservation on 4/1/10)

We did this last week and it was a highlight of our trip. We had a 7:45 ADR for 5. I checked in at 7:30 and requested the patio. You have to wait for a table to open. We were seated at 8:20 so almost an hour wait from check in. Get there early to put in your request and be willing to wait. Good luck.

1) No more waiting for the patio.
2) You MUST take the table available when your name is called.
3) Too many people who couldn't get patio would leave.
4) This left empty tables.

I was just there last Wednesday and I know what the CM told me when I checked in. I gave him my name and asked about sitting on the patio. He replied that it was only a request and made a note on the res. I said yes, I know and thank you. When our buzzer went off the CM said they are finishing getting our PATIO table ready. We were willing to wait it out for a time and got our request. It doesn't hurt to ask.
