Rose and Crown?

I skipped R&C last year. The gf didn't want to eat there. I won't be going with her again. Going back in Sept. Never had a meal there that wasn't great. And, oh yeah, the Guinness is fresh and served right.

I had the cottage pie from R&C in January (although, I think we had lunch there). It was a chillier day out, and this was the perfect delicious warm meal to put in my belly!! MMMMMmmmmmmm!!!

We go to the Rose and Crown every trip! We have tried many things on the menu and found them all very good, the potato soup is YUMMY. DH always had the cottage pie and our kids usually do also. I have had the fish, steak, chicken pasty and all were good.
Yes service is at a slower pace and we enjoy that and being able to relax with our meal and not feel rushed.
Both lunch and dinner are very nice especially if you sit out on the patio looking out over the water.
