I love the pub aspect, and am thinking of eating there. I'm a bit afraid though, is it typical British food? My entire lineage is from the isles, and I know my ancestors make the worlds greatest booze, but are a bit lacking on the culinary side of the house. What is the fare at this place?

We love it and go every trip. DH is British but has lived in the States for more than 20 years so he likes not only the little taste of home (although he says it's better than the food his mom used to make) but to be around folks that talk like him.

We always get different meals and share. Our favorites are bangers and mash (the onion gravy is fantastic), shepherd's pie, and fish and chips. The trifle for dessert is yummy. We always start out with a cheese and fruit plate--mainly because I love Stilton and don't get to eat it very often.

Well, I guess it doesn't sound too bad. I love Yorkshire pudding. I just don't want to be subjected to a menu that reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. (lots of potatoes and cabbage)

We at there this past spring and it was wonderful! I would highly recommend it.

Being British myself, I can tell you it is genuine British food, but at the moment over here the most popular meal is curry. Chicken Tikka Masala being the most popular! When we were there we had the fish & Chips(French Fries)

And if someone offers me free pie and chips, what kind of pie is it? (I'm hoping mince, not steak and kidney)

We ate there two summers ago, with my DBILs.
I believe we all shared bangers and mash, fish and chips and shepards pie.
Everything was tasty.
Not the bland British food you hear people compain about, plus the atmosphere was nice.

This is a must do for us. The New York strip steak and battered shrimp is good, fish and chips are very good. DH loves the Shepards Pie and Guiness Stew (I haven't tasted either of those). The house salad is good too. You can get a really yummy mustard vinegrette or blue cheese. My kids all like it too!

We love it here but then again we tend to eat in pubs for most meals whenever we're in England. It's your typical pub type grub and my favorite is the Bangers and mash. It's a must do for almost every time we're in Disney and as a matter of fact I'll be dining there in a week and a half!

We ate there early in January, and thought the food was really good. I had the Mushroom Ragout (mushrooms in a wonderful cream sauce, with a puff pastry on the side), the Guinness Stew, which had a fantastic flavor, and Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, which was also delish.

My husband is British and we were there a couple of weeks ago. It was our first table service meal at Disney and it was excellent. I thought the food was very authentic (we both had Guinness Stew). The puddings (desserts) were delicious as well.

My stepdaughters are picky eaters, so we now we know of at least one place they will like when we fly over again in August.

The only thing that was not typically British was the service, which was excellent

We ate here in early January. A number of us ordered the fish and chips and it left a lot to be desired. We had them a few days earlier at the CS and they were delish but the one we got with dinner was soggy and our chips were old and cold, the peas were dried out also. My DD's chicken breast off of the kids menu was so overdone we couldn't cut it and requested a fresher not so done one, she did love the mashed potatos and gravy. The second chicken breast was better but not by a whole lot. My son had the chicken pasty and really enjoyed it. My sister in law had the soup and english peas, she also enjoyed. It seems like this was not the night for the fish and chips. I had the toffee pudding for desert and I must say that this was the most wonderful thing I have ever put into my mouth! (do you think they can fed-x it to me?)

Our service was so-so as we were a large party of 8 and there didn't seem to be enough coverage for us. We tried to order dessert drinks but they were out of Baileys Irish Cream.

All in all it was a great dinner due to the family group and being able to see Illuminations from the patio, the food however, was not the highlight of the evening.
