Rose and Crown - yes or no?

I hate to be a lone voice of dissent, especially when it comes to WDW, but:

We had a mediocre meal at the Rose & Crown in 2006, a surprisingly wonderful meal in 2008, and an absolutely abysmal one in 2009 (All trips during the same time of year, Late August, then Early September). We will not be returning. The food and service have all taken a turn for the worse there, and it's a shame, because it was becoming a favorite. Even the chocolate cake that I had for dessert was terrible.

IMHO, If you can get another ADR somewhere else, I say go do it.

I've been eating at R&C for 25 ;years and will once again on Sept 29. It has always been very good. I had only eaten British food a few times but am a convert because of R&C and seek out places like the Blarney in Toledo or The Pub in Louisville.
