Rose and Crown Pub

May be a silly question but here goes. Can you go into the Rose and Crown for just a beer? Do they have a bar? Do you have to make a ADR just for a beer? Can we bring the kids? Thanks for the info!

They have a nice pub attached to the restaurant. Happy drinking! I can't recall, for sure, if I saw any kids in there, but I think I did. It can get crowded towards evening.

There is a bar adjacent to the restaurant where you can order a beer and pub food. I don't think kids are allowed in the bar area. I got carded last time I walked in. (made my day! ) You can also get a beer at a kiosk just outside the restaurant. There's a nice patio area you can sit by the lagoon, relax and enjoy the sights.

Heck, yes! It is very enjoyable to linger at the bar; the folks are all interesting and fun to talk to! It's a lovely place!

Don't know if things have changed or not...2 yrs. ago we went into the English pub for a afternoon beer and fish & chip snacks...we had our 6 yr. old niece with us along with her parents...No one said anything to us about not letting a child in the bar. The bar tender served us the beer and she got served a soda sitting right there at the bar.
