rose and crown or coral reef

i have both booked, for some reason coral reef doesn't really appeal to me, which restaurant is better? we are going to teppan edo this trip too and have already done le cellier and chefs. thanks!

We've eaten at Coral Reef twice - most recently Dec. 20, 2010.
It was not a good experience. The server screwed up the order, we were on the last tier, far from the tank and at a tiny table (there were 4 of us).
I think the food is inconsistent and the restaurant is over-rated.
We've never tried R&C but it appeals to me much more - hopefully we'll give it a try sometime. I wouldn't bother with CR - good luck.

We've eaten at both and we much prefer Coral Reef over Rose & Crown. We found the food at Rose & Crown to be quite bland. Having said that, we are from Louisiana and are used to spicy foods. Each of our meals at Coral Reef were good (we've eaten there 3 times) and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our family loved Coral Reef! The atmosphere was amazing, our three year old was mesmorized by the tank! The food was very good and the dessert (creme brulee) was excellent! Our server was also really good. He helped our daughter find different animals in the tank. It was just a great ending to a busy Epcot day=) Good Luck!!

I prefer Rose and crown over Coral Reef because I had a better overall experience at Rose and Crown. CR was very long wait, fish not good, bad waiter.

I think Rose and Crown has much better food. Coral Reef can be very inconsistent.

Hands down Rose and Crown! We didn't make it there last time, but we always enjoy our meal. Coral Reef has a nice atmosphere, but we don't like the food.

As much as I love Coral Reef for the view (when you can get it), we'll be skipping it this time around ... DH did NOT like his meal there, the kids barely ate theirs (and they LOVE the fish of the day they were offered that day) ... mine was good, but not fantastic.

I guess since I'm from Rhode Island and grew up with great seafood restaurants, I'm picky

But DH took one look at Rose & Crown's menu and said he wants to eat there...

We have done both on a regular basis and Rose and Crown is much more consistent, both in food quality and service.

We've eaten at both. The first time we went to Coral several years ago it was incredible...and went exponentially downhill since then. We love the atmosphere of a pub, so I could be biased stricly on that....but we LOVE Rose and Crown. The food, atmosphere, service...EVERYTHING....was great!
