Rope drop shows

Years ago when we used to do rope drop, they had cute little shows at the parks to open up. Do all the parks still do that?

Only MK still offers a Rope Drop Ceremony (Show.)

Here's the latest rundown:

Only MK still offers a Rope Drop SHOW along with an inside-the-gates holding area.
MK Gates open approx. 15 min. "early."

DAK no longer offers a Rope Drop SHOW,
but still has a "rope" (guest holding area) either just inside the gates,
or at a location past the Oasis, near the Tree of Life.
DAK Gates open approx. 15 min. "early."

Epcot and DHS no longer offer a Rope Drop SHOW, AND no longer offer an inside-the-gates holding area.
Epcot and DHS Gates open approx. 15 min. "early."
(DHS has opened as early as 30 min., but that's not been the case every day.)

AM EMH entrance times seem to not be affected (figure entering 5-10 minutes before the AM EMH time, as usual.)
MK will offer some form of their Rope Drop Show for AM EMH.

As always, arrive well before the posted opening time at all parks.

The Magic Kingdom opening show is so cute! It's a must do every time I go with my DH. Just a note though, they do not do the show when they have EMH in the morning!

Sorry, but that's not always true.

They often do the full show on AM EMH days.

So do they do the show before the EMH opening or before the regular gate opening?

It will always be for the "earliest opening time" of the day.

(There's not much point in "welcoming" regular hours guests to a park that has already been open to hundreds (thousands?) of resort guests for about an hour.)

So, if they offer the Rope Drop Show on AM EMH days, it will be only for the AM EMH opening.
