I am staying off site and plan do be at the turnstile by 7:15 for an 8am opening this Friday (Mar 15).

If I walk straight to Ollivanders and then use the singles line at FJ, about what time will I be done?

I need to punch in an approximate time for my customized touring plan to work correctly for me. I need to fool it a little because it is predicting a 45 -50 minute wait at each but, I am thinking that I will be done with both by about 9am, not 10am.

Can I do both of them between 8am and 9am?

Thanks!

you have a good plan for being at the entrance gate early.
it will work to your advantage.

don't know if you will get Ollivanders and FJ done by 9:00.

it will depend on how many are already in the parry hotter section that date.
many take advantage of the early entry perk that starts at 7:00 am for them.

it is spring break time and the parks will be crowded.

i noticed on my last visit that many of the early entrance guests go to ollivanders near the hour end before the gate peeps are let in.

in october on a weekday, i went to the ollivanders line at 8:50 and had to wait 25 minutes.

using the single rider line at FJ, will prevent a long wait.

on the 15th, the studios opens at 9:00 and early entry will be at 8:00 that friday and saturday/16th.

Thanks for your guidance on this. I may just skip Ollivanders if the wait line seems to be stacking up. I want to make sure to do quite a few things before lunch so that during the afternoon I can tour at my leisure.

I don't have kids/teens with me when i do the darkside.
adults only..

after doing 30 visits to ioa on the past trips, i did ollivanders for the first time last october.

i'm not a parry hotter fan but did want to check it out.
i would do the rides and shops during early entry.
(i'm more of the FJ, rides and shops, butterbeer in that section)

it is a cute show and entertaining.
easy to follow along with the script/actor for that show.
not hard at all to figure out this presentation being a non parry hotter follower.
worth doing it if there isn't a long wait, at least for me.

i would only repeat ollivanders if the wait was 20 minutes or under.

if you are a die hard parry hotter fan, i believe you would want to see this show.
it is the only way you will be able to get inside this room and relate what you see on the walls/everything in the room, to what you have read in the books or have seen in the movies.

you can ask the TM at the door, front part of that line, how long of a wait would you have if you got in line then.
they are pretty accurate as they count off so many peeps to enter for each show.

that might help you make your decision then.

if you want to shop while in that area, you can have your belongings sent to the front store to be held for you.
you need to give them a couple of hours before you can retrieve your paid purchases from that main merch store.
you can do this when you are ready to leave IOA.

it's a free service and allows you to enjoy the park without having to deal with bags, lockers, etc.

The park usually opens 15 minutes early, so if you are right at the front of the pack, you should be done both of them by 9. The singles line for FJ goes quickly during early admission.

Can you shop in Olivanders without waiting in line to see the show? Our plan was to see the show then move over to FJ and then come back later to shop....
