Rope drop for Navi...what’s for breakfast?

hello,

We’re flying in late tomorrow and hitting AK Thursday. We have Fop pastpass but we figure we need to rope drop for Navi.

Is there any decent breakfast food in AK? We’d rope drop Navi, then eat before our 10:00 fastpass...

Suggestions?

Unfortunately there isn't really much of an option in AK. You could go to Starbucks for some bakery type items but Satuli Canteen stopped doing breakfast which is really a shame.

The Yak and Yeti counter service has breakfast sandwiches, French toast sticks, hash browns and breakfast burritos. You can't customize them though. (I want a sausage and cheese sandwich without the egg and they said they couldn't remove the egg)

There are delicious elephant ear pastries by an outlet near Kilamajaro Safaris or a Mickey Cinnamon Bun at Creature Comforts (Starbucks).

Doesn't Rainforest Cafe have breakfast? Tusker House probably has the best breakfast at AK. I actually saw an opening for Thursday morning and the timing could work (8:35) depending on how early you line up for Navi.

EDIT: Well Tusker House only has an 8:05 openning tomorrow now - so it wouldn't work. But folks are changing/cancelling today for tomorrow so another better time could show up.

the old tusker house entrance (almost right across from the restrooms and the store across the plaza from Tusker House) has a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich of some sort I believe? The line was non existent when we first got into the park (for like the first 30 min or so) but by 10 it was like CRAZY long....

Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery is a great walk up option! Our family split the colossal cinnamon roll while we waited to get in for The Lion King and it was sooooo good! Kusafiri is my favorite "hidden gem" at Animal Kingdom. The food options are good and the seating area just to the left of the walk up window is hidden away and quiet.

We saw someone this morning who was getting breakfast for his entire family at Kusafiri to take back to the FoP line.

And the "Iced Coffee with Amarula Cream Liqueur" would certainly help when waiting in line for FoP in the mornings when the wait time is rising for those inclined to a liquid breakfast.

The breakfast wrap at Kusafiri is pretty good. We might try the colossal cinnamon role for our next trip!

Yeah, do Kusafiri if you don't care too much about good coffee, because it's swill but the pastries and egg wrap are good. The line at Starbucks was literally the longest line I waited in all trip.
