Hi
We have plans to be at Magic Kingdom May 20 and 21 (Wed and Thurs). We picked these days as they should be less crowded than Memorial Day weekend (Fri-Mon). Would like to do rope drop as that seems to be the best strategy to avoid longer wait times.

Staying offsite so what time should I plan to be in parking lot?

Unfortunately May 20 is EMH and we are staying offsite so can't take advantage. Will our plans to get there early and get a lot accomplished before lunch be totally ruined?

Don't really want to switch our MK days to the weekend since it will be more crowded. And also already have lunch at CRT booked that day.

Thanks!

May 20 will be less crowded than Memorial day, that's true. Instead of 50,000,000 people there, there will only be 49,990,000 at WDW. Not being able to do early EMH during that time period will make touring the parks and getting everything done challenging.

Thanks....anyone else agree or disagree?
Should I move magic kingdom to another day when there aren't extra magic hours? (Assuming I can reschedule CRT).

I would plan to be at the TTC parking lot no later than 8 am on each day, if the general opening is at 9 am. That gives you an hour to get from TTC to MK and through security checks plus should be a decent line position. If you want to be closer, plan earlier. I usually try to stay to the back of the pack.

May 20: EMH AM is only in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. This might be a good day to start in Adventureland, Frontierland, or Liberty Square as they EMH guests will be held at ropes until the 9 am opening into these lands. I know I walked to HM as the ropes from Main Street dropped at opening and many non-EMH guests were not too far behind me. If you are staying late in the evening, sometimes Fantasyland waits are less later in the evening.

May 21: I would focus on anything you did not get to on the 20th, focusing on Fantasyland first and then work from there.

Thanks for the info. 8:00 was my original plan but wasn't sure if that was early enough.
Now I'm a little confused....I believe the EMH are on the 21st not the 20th. Also the EMH are only for certain areas of MK?

Tuesday and Wednesday are your best bets that week. Thursday (as you know) is EMH and Fridays are typically higher crowds for MK. If you can't do Tuesday, stick with your plan. Get as much done on Wednesday and then expect a little higher than usual crowds on Thurs due to EMH.
