Rooms that sleep 4! Anyone know?

I didn't see my stateroom 6540 on that list and we're 4 people.:(

Don't know what to say Aisling except I'm guessing my book is wrong then in not mentioning your stateroom as well as Piper's. The book was published in '98, by what appears to be Disney itself. If you are a party of 4, I would say they would have to give you a room for 4 ---nothing else would make sense.
I suppose, let my list be a general guide to where the "sleep 4" rooms are and now I know it's not as accurate as it could be.

Passporter says that 6540 is a CAT 6 & sleeps 4. Guess with two different answers you should call DCL to make sure.

After reading this thread I got a little nervous..... The stateroom we have booked , #6116 on the Wonder, was not on your list. Then I read that the Passporter has inaccurate info. we are a family of 4 and need a room for 4. I called Disney and this what they said..... When you book a cruise for 4 people only cabins that sleep 4 will show as available on their computers. Let's all hope that this is the case, at least most of the time. In any case I will be rechecking closer to my sail date to make sure that our stateroom sleeps 4. if not then I will be glad to be upgraded to a suite!! :teeth: hee-hee-hee.

Thanks, Maria. I have to learn not to panic right away over every little thing!

Never intended to panic anyone with my list. I suppose just use it as a guide to show "most" of the rooms that are sleep 4. It's pretty funny how inconsistant these books and TA guides can be. I just posted the list I did to at least give an idea of where "sleep 4's" were. I honestly didn't mean to make anyone worry. Can't hurt to double-check with DCL though. I have a 2003 Passporter----where in the book does it show which staterooms are "sleep 4" ? I can't find this info in my book. Thanks.
:wave2:

As a travel agent
I just returned from a 7 day cruise inspecting
the Disney Magic Oct. 9th.
The rooms you questioned:
Cat.7 w/balcony will sleep 3
Cat.11 inside across hall will sleep 4

it was a Great cruise, and AAA members got
$150 shipboard credit!
Let me know if you need anything else, I'll be
happy to help!

6116 sleeps 4, don't worry. We've always traveled in 6616 and 6116 is the mirror on the port side of the ship, and 6616 is a cabin that sleeps 4. We also sailed on the Wonder in 6616, and it's not listed in Maria's book, so I'm guessing this could be the same book that Passporter used originally in their first Cruise edition. Since so many of their information was wrong, they have since updated it in the Second edition though.

Thanks Lori for setting everyone's mind at ease. I always held on to the '98-'99 TA guide because subsequent newer ones I've come across don't tell anything about how many can fit in a room. All they show are the stateroom numbers. I liked this older version because at least you can get an idea of where the "sleep 4's" are.

MiaSRN62...... I have the Passporter's guide "first edition" from last year. I found the room capacities in a chart in the "Stateroom Details" section. In my book it is on page 74. It lists every stateroom, organized by room number, with each room's sleeping capacity.

jel0511....We satayed in #6614 this past summer and wanted to try the other side of the ship this coming summer, so we booked #6116. Since you have stayed on both sides, in the same location, which do you prefer and why?

According to my Passporter's guide it says that #7537 sleeps 4.
