Just curious if anyone has a suggestion as to preferred rooms at POP?

What would be the best location which would have the following attributes:
1)close to the bus
2) close to the kiddie pool
3) relatively quiet

Thanks,
Ela

From what I have read, I don't know if any of the preferred rooms at the POP would be considered quiet -- it seems like since they are all close to the Classic Hall and the pools, there is a potential for noise. Closest to the bus looks like the 70's from the map. We stayed in the 60's in October and it was close to everything -- hoping for the 60's in June!

We were in the 70's building facing the parking lot (the big wheel was at the back of our section), we were close to everything and weren't bothered by any noise at all. There was the flower pool off to the left if facing the building and the computer pool just off to the right. Classic Hall was right in front of the flower pool, the bus stop was straight out in front. We couldn't have been in a better location, once we figured our way around.

When can you request a particular building? We are going next month. Is this something I can do now?

We were in the 60's building, facing the Legacy addition. It was incredibly quiet, close to the fun fountains/sprinklers and we even watched the MGM fireworks one night from outside our door.
You can request a building whenever you want, just be prepared to mention your request the moment they pull up your reservation. If you can call again first thing in the morning you're going to check in, that would be helpful.
