Hello Friends! Anyone know anything about the location of these rooms on the Magic? We have them for the West Coast Cruise and my mother in law wants to know the size of our window. She heard that the rooms are at the front of the ship and that means it will feel alot of movement and very small windows. What can you tell me?

Excellent rooms . We had 7502 and our friends 7504 last xmas when we cruised and we've booked our next Xmas cruise in the same cabin. The porthole is full sized and deck 7 is very quiet. Your cabins areon the starboard side of the ship right at the front. There are about twelve cabins up your little cul de sac. Just two flights up to the spa and the adult pool and 3 down to the theatre. we found it very convenient and because you're at the end of a corridor hardly any passing people. We had heard lots of things about the front of the ship and movement but we didn't experience anything untoward.
Have fun they are good state rooms.

Thank you so much for the words of positivity! I really appreciate your quick response too! :D

We were in 7010, on the other side of the ship, for our last cruise & LOVED to location & had no problem with excess movement. We actually felt more movement in Parrot Cay at lunch than we did in our room. The room was plenty big for the 4 of us. We liked it so much that we rebooked in 7503, which is the same sized room just without the porthole.

We were in 7514 in July. We loved it. Just two flights up and you walk out to the adult pool!! I agree with lbgraves-we felt more movement at dinner in Parrot Cay than in our room. I would be happy to have that room again!

were these rooms extremely far from all the kids clubs and activities?

Love that location! Our first cruise we were in 7005. It's an easy two flights of steps, and half the ship over to the kids clubs, two flights up and the length of the ship from Topsiders and the Mickey pool, 3 flights down to get to the theater, etc. And being forward puts you right below the bridge so it's QUIET! You also get to see some of the officers coming out of the door at the end of the hallway. They're very nice to talk to.

The only thing that's kind of far is the dining rooms. But we spend much more of our time in the active areas than the dining rooms. And face it, it's a SHIP. Nothing is really very far away!

I just purposely booked 7014 as I expect it will be very quiet. In reality these cabins are not as "forward" as you might think. The entire bow is still ahead of you. I have been in comparable locations on many occasions and have yet to feel excess movement. The Disney Suites ( the finest accomodations on the ship) are only slightly aft of this location.(and one deck up)

We will be in 7012. We choose it because it will be located not too far from everything. I would have been willing to be on deck 2 for the chance to go on a cruise! Hubby thought it would be better to be a little closer to the action on our TA really recommended that area of the ship.

You are all so great to respond! Thank you all!:sunny:

DW,DS and I have enjoyed Cat. 8's 7004 on the Wonder, 7014 on the Magic, and are currently booked for 7502 in January on the Wonder and 7012 on the Magic in April. So I know the neighborhood a little. Great description above as a cul-de-sac--its true, there is no "through traffic", so relatively quiet. Easy to find for children because so relatively close to the stairwells and foreward elevators. Very easy to go up two decks to the pools, buffet, drink station, basketball court (DS's fave), etc. And just down a couple flights for shows and dining rooms. Indeed, full sized huge picture window--these staterooms, at 214 square feet, are as large or occasionally slightly larger than balcony junior suite type accomodations on other cruise lines. Enjoy!!::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo pirate:

Wow, that sounds like a great size room! I think you all should come talk to my Mother in Law in case she doesn't take my word for it. LOL
