Room Upgrades

Good Afternoon ALL,
I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with asking and or getting a room upgrade at check-in? It doesn't have to be free, but am thinking about asking at check-in and was wondering what the probability is. I know that is NEVER hurts to ask, but if I know individuals have had luck recently it might assist in "warming" DW abou the ideal and can get a feel for what the price might be. Staying at WL 9/26-10/3.

During that time period when the kids are already back in school, I'd say your chances of getting an upgrade are better than average. We just go back from WL last week and had a standard view room at WL. Paid $139.00 a night with an AP rate and we were upgraded for free to WL CL.

During all of my past trips, we always stay at AKL. I can say that 100% of the time we've received a free upgrade to Savana view room by simply asking if there were any free upgrades.

Even if there are no free upgrades, ask the CM if they have any upgrades to CL for a small fee. I have a feeling you may get an upgrade for free, but who knows. I wish you the best and hope you get the free upgrade. Keep us posted if you do get the upgrade.
