" would be a good way.

Just remember to book the level of room you will be happy with since free upgrades are not a common event.

When I fax in our room request to the room controller, I always ask about a comlimentary room upgrade. Using the word complimentary already indicates that I don't want to pay for it, but if it's free, I'd be glad to have it !
