Room temperatures and fans

Hello! Does anyone else travel with a fan for sleeping? Lol! I have brought a fan in the past since I tend to feel too hot in the middle of the night and I usually sleep with a ceiling fan at home. Is there a relatively small fan that works well that won't take up tons of space in my luggage? I asked for a fan for Christmas and the one I got doesn't seem very strong. Any recommendations? Thank you!!

We've not found a small fan that produces the type of white noise we need (sleep with a box fan on at home). I downloaded a white noise app for my phone which works pretty well- especially in conjunction with the small quiet fan that keeps DW cool

I don't really need the noise since I usually wear earplugs to tune out DH. lol! But definitely need a fan to keep me cooler. What kind of fan do you use? Is it still allowed by DCL?

We've used it on all 4 we've been on... will let you know if they let us bring it on next week! Its a mini tower fan built by "Chillout".
