I've always heard there is, but I've never been presented with one since everything we order is free. I take a bunch of singles and keep them in a drawer to be used to tip room service.
I just got off of the Wonder and we were presented with the receipt to sign every single time we ordered room service which was pretty much every day. We never actually tipped on it as we had gotten singles for this purpose but we would have had the option.
I've never ordered anything that costs extra from room service, so I've never seen a anything to sign. Also, as stated above, they are in and out very fast.
So, I pre-make envelopes for Room Service, stuffed w/ $2 each and keep in a magnetized pocket near the door.
I always ask and sign the receipt so that tips are on our account. We have also done cash in the past. I think that they may need to sometimes have a signature for proof of delivery? I also had to sign something saying I received my stateroom decor over NYE. Just my experience.
We always bring singles with us so we can just hand them cash and they deliver the food. We usually do a minimum of $1 per dish ordered; if we only order 1 thing we usually hand them a couple bucks.
