Room sensors in the BCV that control the A/C

We where at BCV in august and i thought the air conditioning was AWFUL....frankly they ought to be ashamed of themselves for such a move...I love being a DVC member, but to know you pay dues to come home to a warm room is ridiculous...it is worse at night, I would get up and walk around just to get it to kick in....It was a big problem for me...my wife was less concerned, so i guess for each is their own.

oh, and by the way...you can kill those balloon ideas, I think the motion sensor works like the one in my house does, it first senses movement, and then judges size...if the size is not large enough, it will not kick in.

I wonder if people start complaining to Member Services if they will have to put in an override feature. We were at OKW in July and I don't know if the room had a sensor or not, however it did have a new digital thermostat. I will tell you that the room was close to impossible to control the temperature. Sometimes it was so unbearably warm, other times people in the 2nd bedroom complained they were cold when the master bedroom was warm. In 5 nights, I could never get the room to STAY at a temperature I wanted it to. I am all for saving money in dues, but when I am at home, as well as on vacation, I want to be comfortable in my living areas.

I totally agree. I think we should start expressing our concerns (aka complaining). Who do we complain to?
