Room sections

We have a King room at CBR reserved for Sept. We have never stayed there. Looking forward to it. These are some of the things I would like to have. Could someone give me a few rooms to request. We have not booked preferred. First floor, near smoking area ( don't flame), beach side, pretty close to OPR. I have heard Jamaica and Aruba are the ones to ask for, but does anyone have any section numbers or room numbers? Thanks

You will love CBR. King rooms are spread throughout the resort, and you are correct, Jamaica and Aruba are great standard locations! We love first-floor courtyard rooms, and smoking areas are found in the courtyards, which are in the interior sections of each building, so while you'd be close to a beach, you wouldn't really be staring out at them.

Limit your requests to what's really important to you, which sounds like "Jamica or Aruba, first-floor courtyard" -- I think you'll be very happy!

Agree with PP.

The fewer requests, the more likely you are to get them fulfilled. If you ask for certain room #s and don't get them, are you going to be upset? Those rooms might already be filled from guests who checked in days before you. Just remember that they are only requests, and they can put you anywhere in the resort and still be keeping their side of the deal (giving you a room). Your only guarantee is a room. They will do their best but just keep that in mind and only request what you think is top priority. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 requests.

I stayed at Aruba one year, and it was a really nice leisurely walk to the main building for the food court.

Once I got the lay of the land, it was fairly easy. At first, it was a bit overwhelming.
