Room Requests

Hi Everyone,

I noticed people mentioning requests for rooms at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Can you do this for other resorts? I know when I checked in at Saratoga I asked for a room facing Downtown Disney and waited for that room. But if I could request in advance that would be great. Can you request the area too? Saratoga has different names to different groups of buildings. Why I didn't think of asking when I made my reservations is beyond me, but I am learning so much on this mousellaneous board. Yes, you can call MS and they will add the request to your reservation. As with the requests you make at check in, these are not guaranteed, but certainly worth a try.

If you do make requests ahead of time, some say you should not do online check as once those rooms are assigned, it is harder to get them changed.

We have done requests at other resorts and were not granted either. I didn't really care, especially when my room at BLT was ready at 12:00 pm. It was only a 2 night trip so getting in the room when we arrived was worth asking about a different room.
