Hello,

This Nov/Dec Mom & I will be staying at the ASMu and then switching over to the Poly. This will be my Mom's first stay at the Poly so I wanted to make a room request. I know you normally FAX a request in about 4 days prior to arriving. My question is, how do you do it when you are already at WDW?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

That's a good question. I'm doing the same thing. Going from POR to BWI, and was wondering the same thing.

I was planning on calling CRO, and having my BWI request noted on my reservation before I leave.

I'm interested to see if there's an easier/better way to do it.

We've switched resorts during our stays & the Poly has always been the second resort. First I ask CRO to note our building request on our reservation. Then before we leave I fax the bldg request to the Poly explaining that we will be coming from another resort on property. And then a day before we are to check in the Poly I either call or stop by the reservation desk (as long as they don't look busy) & just ask them to please confirm our reservation for us & say we are looking forward to our visit & to please check our bldg. request also. Sounds like alot but it really only takes a few minutes & even then when we check in if the request isn't available I tell them we are willing to wait until late in the day if a room might be ready then. Usually, something works out. Polite & persistent & if that doesn't work, sometimes it just wasn't meant to be & you'll still have a great time!:D
