Hi all,

Port Orleans Riverside.
Has anbody any experiences on actually getting the room/building they requested via fax.We are travelling via Virgin and i have a daughter who is an asthma sufferer as well as having a food allergy to eggs.Due to these problems i am thinking of requesting a non smoking room for her asthma and a room near the main buildings/reception in case of requiring medical assistance if she has a reaction to eggs.Any advice on requesting such a room/building much appreciated, thankyou.

I believe that faxes are rarely read anymore, because the room assignment CMs were getting overwhelmed. The best way to give your room request the highest chance of being met is to get the request added to your reservation. As you booked with Virgin Holidays, I believe you will need to contact them and have them add it on at their end, as Disney won't have your details on their system yet. However, as your request is for a specific medical reason I believe that Disney may give it a higher priority. Call central reservations a week or two before your trip and see if they have your details on file. Let them know it is for medical reasons, and I am quite sure you will receive your request. :)
