Room request recommendation

We are renting DVC points at BCV in May. Does anyone have suggestions on whether I should request 1st floor vs upper floor rooms? We’ll have 3 kids and I think I’ll ask for a room closest to Epcot entrance. Thanks!!

I always prefer higher rooms for the view, but first floor does allow you to avoid the elevator. You will have to walk through or around the main Beach Club building on your way to Epcot. I think the best room numbers are those ending in 01-30 (on any floor) to be closest to the walkway.

First since you are renting points the owner of the points will need to agree to make the requests for you. They can do it only via the Member services web site or by phone to DVC Member services.

If you are using a third-party rental company. You will need to work through them to contact the owner.

First floor rooms have a patio and floor 2 and up have a balcony that you might enjoy early in the morning or late at night.

We rented points in2016 for Boardwalk Villas and made the request ourselves when I did online check ln. Asked for close to the lobby and got it.
