Room Request Help for Boardwalk Villas

We are staying at Boardwalk for the first time in a Studio, Pool/Garden view category. What are some of your suggestions for where to request a room? We would like some quiet, but considering we plan to close out the parks each night, it will be late so the pool should no longer be open when we go to sleep. We would like a nice view from the balcony. Bonus points for specific room numbers you have really enjoyed!

If you actually want a partial boardwalk view, request room overlooking Village Greeen and higher floor. Those studios are also close to the only elevator block and thus also have easy access to the lobby. However, you mention the desire for quiet and those rooms do have activity near them during the day and evening. For the most quiet rooms, request room overlooking Quiet pool and higher floor. Rooms there are placed back enough that you really do not hear anything from quiet pool area and, in any event, noise rarely even exists at that lightly used pool.

We have been members at the Boardwalk for fifteen years and don't find that requests are met. They seem to be the worst resort for that....although other people have better luck than we have been. It doesn't hurt to make the request, but keep your expectations realistic for it being met.

We've stayed at the BWV twice. The second time we requested Village Green and got it. But it was only for one night before we moved over to our favorite resort. We just stayed at BWV for the one night because of the Tower of Terror 10 Miler.

Agree with crisi. BWV you are lucky if they get your room with no requests ready by 4. Adding a room request and you might wait till 5 or 6 and then you probably won't get it.

I agree, rarely get any requests granted at boardwalk. I now only request high floor and for some reason that seems to be the only thing they have been getting correct for us. I no longer request far from elevator, or near tennis courts, or specific rooms. After requesting those around 20+ Bwv stays, I’ve never gotten a request granted. Good luck....

We have had great luck with getting into our rooms - the latest has been 3pm and we are often in when we arrive from the airport at noon. But requests - not much luck at all there.

I'm glad I asked, then! I guess I'll just make my request generic, like higher floor, and leave it at that. I never expect to get my request, hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

That's the attitude to have - my warning is just because there are people who do set their expectations there, and then start vacation off poorly. I've never had a room I've been unhappy with.
