Mostly I've heard faxing is best, but another (nameless) board now recommends calling (particularly, I guess, if you happen to get a very friendly CM). Any advice? And how long before check-in? (We're going to the Poly in late Jan. '03, if that helps.) Thanks.

Hi melish27,

We just make our room requests when we book our room through CRO. Whether or not your requests are granted is complete luck. We have never asked for a free upgrade just specific building/floor/trail and we always have a medical request for a non-smoking room due to my husbands asthma.

There have been trips when we have gotten free upgrades and then there have been trips when nothing but the medical request was granted.

My point is just keep in mind that rooms requests are just that and my not be granted.

I wish you luck in getting your requests granted and I hope you have a great trip.
