We have a room only reservation for July and we have our fast passes set. Issue being my husband works for Marriott and it has been next to impossible to get an employee rate this summer so we booked onsite. But this week something opened up and I nabbed a two bedroom condo for MUCH less money. Not sure what to do now. So my question is...has anyone cancelled a room only when there was less than 30days left? Did your fast passes remain unchanged or did it cancel them and you had to start over because they were originally made at the 60 day mark? Hope this made sense.

Since you will have to call and cancel the ressie anyway, it's best to ask. That said as long as you tickets are loaded into your profile and you are 30 days or less out I don't think you will lose them.

I cancelled a Room only and moved to a different resort with a package. EVerything stayed intact. I ndid this two weeks ago with a stay for this week

Your FP are tied to your tickets-- not to your reservations.

I'd wait until less than 30 days out to cancel so you don't lose your FP+ reservations.

Okay so has anyone actually cancelled under 30 days and didn't lose FP+ reservations? I'm scared.

I have an AP. I had a one day, room only reservation for next week that I cancelled two days ago. I made FP+ ressies at about the 50 day mark and they are still intact after canceling.
