Hi there--I'm planning a trip for 12/23 (have to save up a bit) and want to just go all out. Maybe WL but I also loved YC/BC. To get the room we'd want (theme park view for WF, water view for YC/BC) should I make a room-only reservation now? Can I switch it to a package later? Or would you wait to book in June or whenever the 2023 packages come out?

If you are set on a certain room, I would book it now. If packages (or maybe you mean discounts?) come out later you don't have to 'switch', just book the package and cancel your room only.

You can also book a 'basic package' that is room only with the package restrictions, and then add things later. $200 deposit vs 1 night for room only. Last time I booked a 'basic package' and then when I wanted to change to 'room only' there was nothing available in my room category. So I had to keep the package. Didn't like the 'package' because the final payment is due 30 days prior vs day of for room only, and they don't give you a line item charge for the room.
