has anyone called CRO in the last few days to get any idea as to whether or not some room only codes may be released for Jan/Feb?

Email codes as well and FL residents room only codes have been released for Jan - mid Feb so I'm wondering if a general public room only code will come out this week. If not, I assume Disney has filled enough rooms with the email/pin and FL residents as well as offering great BRP rates for these dates that it won't be necessary to offer general public room only codes.

Any thoughts?

So maybe its time to go and buy my CAA membership (to get the CAA rate I have booked)???

We leave home Dec 16 (but won't be in Disney until Dec 31) and I won't have computer access from Dec 16 - Jan 8.

I can't see Disney releasing a room only code for Jan as late as Dec 16?????

any thoughts???????

I'm glad I went ahead and booked the package deal now instead of waiting it out. I would have MUCH MUCH prefered a room only rate than a package, but it looks like this is the direction Disney is wanting to head. Too bad. I was so afraid I would not be able to get my ressies at WL for the amount of time I wanted and for the dates that I wanted that I went ahead with the package. But all is good....we are heading the Disney after 3 years!!!

Hi Suzy,
I just wanted to let you know that the CAA office you buy your membership from can/will give you a temporary membership card. I would think this should be acceptable with Disney. Does anyone else know?

I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Still so many things to do. I bet that least week will crawl.

I just wanted to post that I'm both upset and happy with Disney at the same time. I know that sounds wierd but let me explain. I have been calling Disney for the last 3 months or so to keep on checking rates, pins, room only etc. Every time the cm asks me if we are triple a, or any other group affliations. I respond no, and then ask if there are any military rates (my hubby is in the Air Force). I'm always told no, that the military rate ended in Oct. Well, yesterday I get a really nice lady who told me about the military rate, but my dates were sold out.!!! I freaked out! This military rate has been out for a month she tells me. I was furious(not at her) because I've always been told that there was not any military rate and obviously there had been. Well, long story short, she connects me to guest services. I explain what was going on and the women ended getting me the mlilitary rate for all four nights. I was very appreciative! I guess my beef is just that there is obviously a certain amount of cm's that just do the bare minimum and don't even try to accomodate. So, there is a military rate out there!! Can I post that? Anyway, at least I'm not at rack rate anymore!!! Thanks for letting me vent! Tink

AddictedtoWDW- We are going to be there Jan. 3-7th at the Port Orleans Riverside. It ended up being $102 a night. Like I said I was very appreciative to get that rate. If you are a military family pm me. Hope this helps! Tink

Ok, I know I'm grasping at straws here, but maybe not. I called today to make a reservation for our planned March visit. Booked a room at CSR at the AAA rate. I remarked to the young man I was speaking with that I'd given up on any other room only code. He kept joking with me saying "You don't think there's going to be a code????" He then said maybe if I'd waited another few weeks and told me to keep my eye out. Very coy. I planned to keep on looking in any case, but he kind of got my hopes up.

I leave for Florida Dec 16 ( at Disney Dec 31-Jan 8) and won't have access to DIS Dec 16-Jan 8!!!!!!

I think I had better just go buy my CAA membership since I have a CAA room only rate and stick with that!!!!

Has anyone else phoned CRO in the last couple of days. If so, what info. were you told?????

going around for $64/night for Value. The trend has been for them to send out the PIN code and then release the same deal for the general public a few weeks later.

I think there is still a chance for something to come up for Room Only.

I called yesterday and was told that the CM didn't think there were going to be any more discounts for January. I'm already booked, I just hoped to find something better than AAA.

Seems like CAA/AAA is the only discount available for a lot of us.

We are from Cape Breton and will be staying on site at Disney 12/28-01/10. My DH and two DS and myself are counting the days. DH is running the half marathon on the 7th. We were there last year at this time and loved it. Are you staying on site?
