Room only discount

Hi, I just heard that there is room only discount for certain dates. There is a room only discount being offered when we're staying at the CBR is October. The thing is, i'm new to booking Disney vacations and we got everything in a package so does that mean it's too late to call back and get a discount on the room? Or does the discount only apply if you only booked a room without ticketss? Thanks!

A room only discount is for reservations that are not a package. You can still get tickets as a sort of separate transaction, but the reservation is not considered a package. It is possible that you could get it, but you would have to cancel the current reservation and get a new one. You would probably have to pay a fee to cancel the package reservation since you are within the 45 day limit and the savings would possibly be eaten up by the cancellation fee.
