Room only discount for general public?

How much off are these usually? Are they different for the Value/moderate and deluxe?

In the past year these discounts have been about 20% off of the room rate per night. The same for all room catagories. Many had gotten use to the flat discount of value $24 off, Mod $36 off and duluxe $75-100 off per night.

With the economy who knows how Disney will continue to discount this year. I have never gotten a postcard, email or pin but those can go to 40% off per night. Who is to say Disney will not push the room discount for ganeral public up to that much.

Well, I for one would be thrilled with a 40% off discount (even 25% would help) on a room-only reservation. SO much better for us than a package, since we want to come for a longer time and split between 2 resorts.

we would like a room only discount since we will only be going for 4 nights. would love to go longer like we have in the past but we won't be able to this year.

In my opinion, I think if a room only discount is released, it will only be for AP holders. I may be wrong--kind of hope I am.
