Room only and ADRs

i have a room only reservation for 2 nights followed by a 7 night package. I upgraded our park hopper tickets from an 8 day to a 10 day so we could get into he parks on our first 2 days. I am aware that I cannot book FP for the first 2 days until I activate my tickets when I get there. But can I make my ADRs for those days 180 days out from my room only reservation?

Why can't you book your FP+ for the first two days? I always do a room only reservation and I can book FP+ as long as I have purchased a ticket.

She/He can't because her tickets are attached to her package for Stay #2.

FPs can only be booked for any day when they are linked separately and not part of a package.

Yes.

ADR's are not tied to WDW Resort reservations...
You can make ADR's 180 days in advance even if you were not staying at a WDW resort at all.

The difference is that if you are staying at a WDW resort,
you can book ALL of the days of your trip at one time...
on the very first day that is 180 days in advance.

I think the OP means can she book ADR's for her entire stay 180 days prior to the room-only reservation. The answer is no. You have two separate reservations, so you can book ADR's for your first stay at 180 days prior to that check-in and then make ADR's for your second stay at 180 days prior to that check-in. Two reservations, so two ADR reservation windows. They used to make exceptions for split stays if you called the ADR's in, but they don't anymore.

Also it will only allow +10 even if you have a longer stay, after the initial day of making your first 10 days of adrs you can go in day by day as each day becomes 180+10 out

the +10 is days, not number of adrs.. so it's 180 days from checkin for the first 10 days of the trip.. if your staying longer then you'll need to book adrs for each day as it becomes available.
