Room numbers at SSR

We are arriving at SSR on Friday afternoon. Yay!

Could someone please remind me how the room numbering works, ie which digit represents the floor? I remember it seemed quite illogical but I know someone explained it.

The second digit is the floor number

1 or 5 = first floor
2 or 6 = second floor
3 or 7 = third floor
4 or 8 = fourth floor

We were in room 2434....fourth floor.
