Room location at Grand Californian

I'll be staying at the Grand Californian for the first time in a few weeks. Booked in a standard room - is there any particular area I should ask for (or try to avoid?) I'm not looking for an upgrade or anything, just didn't know what the best would be for the standard range.

We had a room overlooking the courtyard/monorail in the past and it was nice and quiet.

GC rooms have views of: Park, Pool, Downtown Disney.
Standard rooms do not have one of those views, the majority of which are at the front of the hotel or the courtyard (which the Monorail passes through).
Request a room facing the courtyard.
