room key/tickets

I booked my package trough a TA. We are staying at HRH. Will I get my tickets with my other paperwork? or will the hotel give them to me when we arrive? Will they load them on the room key like disney does? or do I have to stand on line to activate at the parks?

Not sure how you will get your tickets. I guess it will depend on how the travel agent booked it.

But I doubt that they will be loaded onto the room key. Universal does not do that, at least not that I have ever heard of. You will have a separate admission ticket to get into the parks. Once in the parks, your room key will be your access into the express lines at the rides.

Sorry to jump in here, but I am wondering along the same lines......
Is the Express Pass automatically given (and loaded onto the room key) when you stay on site regarless of where your tickets were purchased?

Eg: Family of 4....staying on a 4 night stay with 2 free tickets....2 extra tickets were purchased over the internet (using the deal at the momet) and printed at home. Does everyoe have a room key with the Express Pass on or just the two within the package?

The EP is not "loaded" onto your room key...your room key IS your Express Pass.

Park tickets are separate too....not combined like at Disney....so, you will have 2 things to carry....room key and park ticket!

AND...everybody on the reservation for the room will receive their own room key.

It will have their name imprinted on it, if they are a child or adult, whether the key has charging privileges and the dates of the stay.

Everybody shows their room key, the Express Line attendant will look at them to make sure the dates are current, and then you enter the Express line. Many times there will be a second attendant to check your passes again, so don't put them away immediately.

It is the best perk ever!
